This particular project focused on the figure and posing, something I haven't had much experience in. The goal was to just demonstrate an understanding of the figure and even though I avoided realism (again), I feel like that was for the best. I'm always going to prefer my style, so learning how to draw somewhat proper proportions in this way would be more beneficial for me. Besides, if I went realistic, it would have looked terrible. Trust me, I tried. Getting back on topic, I feel like the proportions are pretty solid, specifically the hand, which is always a point of contention for me (but I still don't think it's perfect by any means.)
"Planning" was once again just sketches. The one on the left was a design that just came to me one day (not counting the clothes) while the one on the right is a character from Fire Emblem (the clothes for the left picture are also from Fire Emblem.) As a whole, I really like these as they are probably the most detailed pieces I've done in my style. Though, if I could change any, I would have made the braid larger, since I just realized how small it looks. C'est la vie...
